Abstract: 
The Worskhop on Ontology and Semantic Web Patterns (WOP2015, 6th edition) was held on October 11, 2015 in conjunction with the 14th International Semantic Web Conference in Bethlehem, PA, USA. At the workshop, the organizers (Eva Blomqvist, Pascal Hitzler, Adila Krisnadhi, Tom Narock, and Monika Solanki) conducted a discussion with the participants regarding the promises and obstacles of ontology design patterns (ODPs for short). This editorial reports on those discussions.
